All throughout the month of March we have been celebrating Music in Our Schools Month as well as Read Across America. We have been encouraging students to participate in a book cover redesign contest. The deadline for entries is Tuesday, April 1. Please see this link for more details.
Congratulations to Barbara George, 7th grade social studies teacher and team leader for the explorers! Ms. George was honored at the New England League of Middle Schools Conference in Springfield, MA last week where she received the “Master in the Middle Award.” This award recognizes teachers for making a positive difference in the school, seeking professional development, implementing ideas, fostering community connections, and meeting the needs of individual students using effective middle level practices.
