Dear Weston Middle School Families:
Today is the deadline to order a team t-shirt for your child. Please see the details below. Tomorrow is an early dismissal day for students. The middle school dismisses at 11:45 am. We do not serve lunch on scheduled early dismissal days. Students are free to bring snacks if they wish. This Friday is a Student Government Association Spirit Day; students are encouraged to wear colors to support their preferred Super Bowl Team (red and white for the Chiefs or green and white for the Eagles).
Internet Safety Internet Safety lessons will begin this week, starting with the sixth-grade classes. Our Library Media Specialist, Rich Blozie, and our School Resource Officer, Jason Kim, will present the lessons in the LLC. Topics will include Social Media, Ways to Stay Safe Online, Avoiding Risks While Online, Appropriate Online Behavior, Online Privacy, and Cyberbullying.
Team T-Shirts The online store is now open to order your child’s team T-shirt. We encourage students to wear their team T-shirts (or team colors) on school field trips and for our Warrior Day field day in June. Please make sure you order the correct color/team. Please select your child’s 1st period/homeroom teacher from the list. If you need a reminder of your child’s team, here is a link to our team pages. The teacher field seems to lag a little. It may take 30 seconds or so before you see the drop down menu with the teachers’ names. Please choose the “Pick up at school” option. Students will pick up their T-shirts in the period 1/homeroom once they arrive. The deadline to order is February 2.
